a journey of returning home to myself

My awareness of the human energy field began as a child in the woods of Minnesota and was re-awakened decades later on the beaches of Rhode Island. This practice is close to my heart because fully inhabiting my own body has transformed my life.

going deeper

Having navigated profound disconnections that once left me feeling outside of myself, I used this work to develop a deep, felt sense of safety. Today, after completing four years of study, I am a certified Brennan Healing Science Practitioner and an Advanced Studies student at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing in Oxford, UK.

my healing philosophy

the art of energetic flow

Healing is an awakening of the Core Essence already present within you. In our work together, I act as a connector, aligning my own energy to create a stable, high-vibration field. I provide a safe space for the exploration of contractions where the human energy field was held tight in defense. By meeting these areas with deep presence and appreciation, rather than judgment, the system can finally let go.

FAQs

What should
I expect during
a session?

During the first ten to fifteen minutes I will support you as we tune-in to what is present for you. The next 35-40 minutes will take place with you lying down, either in your own home for a remote session, or on a massage table in person. I will place my hands gently on your body. This contact can also be done just off the body if it is more comfortable for you. In a remote session this will be done energetically. The last 5-10 minutes will be reserved for checking-in and sharing observations.

How should
I prepare for
a session?

In a remote session I recommend that you set up a comfortable space to lay down. This could be a bed, a couch, a mat on the floor or anywhere where you feel comfortable. Clients remain fully clothed and some get cold during sessions so make sure you have a blanket nearby. Dim lighting is okay as long as there is enough light for me to see your body. Ensure that you are in a location that is private, where you will not be disturbed during the session.

What should
I expect after
a session?

Treat your session aftercare with gentleness and self-love. Hydrate and rest. Effects of the session often take days to unfold and everyone has their own individual pace. Even for the same client, some sessions may take longer to integrate than others. Be understanding with your process and trust your intuition as the effects settle in your body.

What does energy healing feel like?

Every healing is unique and you could feel any one of the following (or others!) in person or remotely: tingling, pins and needles, hot, stomach gurgles, cold, dizziness, sleep, visions, contact with loved ones or guides, strong emotions, clear thoughts or messages, knowing a full concept, expansion, music, scents, vivid memories, past life experiences, feelings of release.

Are your sessions trauma-informed?

Yes. I understand that unresolved experiences (even without memory) create physical restrictions in the energetic flow. Many of us carry trauma as stored somatic imprints in our bodies.  I take this body memory seriously and provide a secure container to process these deep places of holding at a pace that feels safe for your nervous system.

Is energy healing like Reiki?

While Reiki and Brennan Healing Science (BHS) use hands-on or near-body techniques, BHS is a more comprehensive and psychodynamic practice, addressing the relationship between emotional patterns and physical energy while Reiki is a passive channeling practice. BHS requires four years of comprehensive training that includes a heavy emphasis on the practitioner's personal process and transformation in order to be able to support clients in the clearest way possible.
